I had a chance to discuss this idea with our forum sponsor this morning - and they are supportive of this idea too..

Key points:

1) Private Party sales only - this is not for commercial or business posting(s)..

2) Specifics must be included in the posting - price, description, your email (or have it in your profile), possibly even other contact information.

3) This is NOT a classified ad forum - The fact is, we have all sorts of forums here, if you want to introduce your latest widget? How about the T..& Instrument forum? or the Beer Tent Forum? but not here.. Looking for band members? Please post in another place.. etc.. Looking for trouble.. :D :eek: (kidding)

4) Please use this forum to let us know when you find or sell the item. Post on the thread where you introduced the item for sale, or sought..

A couple of thoughts to add...

1) Subject
Please indicate in your subject line - if you are selling, or looking to buy, or..

2) Price
If you're selling, please give some form of price (not 'best offer', 'reasonable offer', 'will consider offers', etc..) use a number.

If you're buying / searching, please give an idea as to the amount you're willing to spend. (not more than $50 CDN as an example)

- and remember that we're international here, in terms of viewers, $ are they Australian? Canadian? USA?.. etc..
