I was surprised (but relieved) recently to be diagnosed with Diverticulosis, and was wondering if anybody has had any experiences with this related to their piping.
I won't go into the gory details, but my Diverticulosis became apparent to me only after playing a 3 hour gig earlier in the day. Suffice it to say it was rather frightening, and Diverticulosis was the best possible diagnosis... the other possibilities for the symptoms I developed that day were much more grim.
I'm rather young (39) to have this, it's estimated that only 5% of those age 40 have it, and the vast majority aren't even aware that they do. By age 60, it's about 30%, and by 80, it's nearly 100% (stats for the US only).
