Instructional DVD or Video

Does anyone know of an instructional DVD or video for an aspiring drum major? I see many for pipers and drummers, but, I can't locate any help for a drum major.

this was brought up a long time ago and it was decided there was no such thing.. maybe there is now tho :shrug:

The one most people talk about is By the Center by D/M Jim Thompson and D/M Kevin MacHeffner, dated 1999. Now out of print. It is a tape of a workshop that the two of them conducted covering most aspects of drum majoring.. It is worth hunting down a copy and if possible make a DVD of it. Wouldn't it be nice if some one could get permission to reissue it on DVD.

There was another offered free in this forum called Drum Majoring with John Moon. It just covers mace commands.

It is my fond hope that Paul Olson at the the Regimental Drum Majors Association will eventually produce a DVD. He is presently finishing up: Drill Manual for Pipes and Drums, Mace Manual for Pipes and Drums and Dress Manual for Drum Majors. The first two are now available for downloading in PDF format from the RDMA Web site (http://www.drummajor.net/)
