Around The Neck

Hi Everyone.

I have a question about the 'around the neck' flourish, the instructions I have are to start off with a hand over hand spin:

o From the carry
o Bring right hand below left, palm up, mace in crook of thumb
o Rotate mace with right hand half turn
o Bring left hand below right, left pinkie against right thumb and grasp mace in hand
o Rotate mace half turn
o Grasp in right hand as before and repeat
o Return to carry by placing mace in left hand, in carry position

(I take it the mace has to be moving in a clockwise manner for this). Then it tells me:

o From Hand-over hand spin
o When mace is in left hand do not pass to right
o Bring hand to right shoulder and place in crook of neck
o Allow momentum to carry mace around neck
o Catch by bringing left hand over to left side and grasp mace as it comes around shoulders
 grasp with palm down and thumb towards you
o Bring hand down and let mace rotate so palm is open and up
o Take mace in right hand as in spin and resume spin

This just doesn't seem to flow - does anyone know where I can find illustrations or a video of this being done?

d4, I'm a novice DM myself so I'm not in a position to instruct except that you might search out a copy of "BY THE CENTER", a VHS by Jim Thompson and Kevin MacHeffner. These are hard to find but they're out there.
