The 24th Guards brigade feat. companies of the Scots Guards and Irish Guards, many pipers amongst the soldiers, that landed in Anzio (Italy) under heavy enemy fire as part of the liberation of Europe by the allied forces.
Great tune,
I think British Cal. Airways played it during the 1980's and 1990's. Angus MacDonald introduced me to that march.

Yes BCAL, and it's succesor ScottishPower both played it. Power of Scotland played it as a medley opener in 1989.

Also recorded on solo GHB by Mike Katz in the folk group Battlefield Band's release "Leaving Friday Harbour".

Scots Guards 1 is the piping Bible. Many people consider the Bible to be the Scots Guards Vol. 1 of religion.

Keir,
Maybe this explains why ScottishPower/BCAL only ever played the first two parts.
