does anyone know of any tunes that would work for a middle eastern feel on the pipes? the wicked tinkers did one of these tunes on their,bangers for breakfast,c.d. and it was awesome.

There's quite a few. Look at the young players like Finlay MacDonald, quite a few tunes on his CD that might fit the bill; there's Glen Kabul by Fraser Fifield, and of course the Belly Dancer itself by Gordon Duncan.
No, I have no idea where or if any of them are published...
