Anybody know where one can fine the music for this tune. All of my searching says it is on the CD "Out of the Blue" by the Scottish Gas Caledonian Pipe Band. However, I cannot find a web page for the band to ask where the tune can be found.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bill

Try searching under its English title of "The March of th eKing of Laoise" or the alternate title "Rory of the Hills". Using these I found sources written for other instruments - you may have to transpose in for GHB.

Thanks Ian and John
I did find "March of the King of Laoise" but I was told I was looking for a slow air and this was a 6/8 march. Are they one in the same, just played either way.

Or you can use the printed music for Duncan MacRaeof Kintail's Lament and change the timing a la Alan MacDonald on his Piping Centre CD

Mystery solved. I was given the wrong title for a slow air. Marseil Ri Laoise is indeed a 6/8 March and not the slow air I was looking for.
Thanks for helping
