Can anyone provide me with source for a setting for Fields of Athenry? (I realize that it has been requested and addressed before but was unable to locate any source).
Thanks in advance.

You can find regular (non-piping) music in "Folksongs and Ballads Popular in Ireland Volume 4" by Ossian Publications, page 60. Transpose the music up a 6th, so that the starting C's will become Low A's, etc. The first two notes of the chorus, which would be High A and High B, play an octave down. It goes great on the pipes, and I play it all the time at Irish events.

It's in book 1 of "Highland Harmonies" by Don Bishop, Aurora, CND
Have a look at the content at piperbri@sympatico.ca
