Order of forum displays?

Just wondering:

What do you think about seeing the forums displayed in an order that reflects their current popularity?

If I were to do this right now, the order in the GHB category would be:
Beginners & Intermediate
Beer Tent
Music
Technique & Instrument (depends on how we decide popularity - posts? topic?)
Piobaireachd (who wudda thunk?)
Competition
etc..

What do you think?? a re-org every now and then, to reflect popularity? or..
"leave it alone Bob.. there are already enough changes for us"

Bob, love the forum - great match of technology and content. But having done some multimedia design, I would suggest that computer users in particular need some standardized context - like the button locations, navigation, etc., the architecture of a site shouldn't change too much - can be confusing. My preference would be to leave the order constant.

Bob, great forum. How about general topics divided into major speres of interest such as, drumming, mechanics of playing, drum major, tuning, physical aspects of the GHB, purchasing sources, tunes, history, pipe makers.

Can I just say however that I'm just getting used to things as they are and will get back to you in 2005 to let you know how I'm progressing!

I think it's great right now. I've gotten used to the categories where they are now.
I usually jump right to "Todays Active Topics" then, after scouring them, go the main directory.

The only other thing that would be neat is if you could update your "New Post Indicators" from the main screen.
