View Full Version : DIY Moderator - Wulls
I have been seriously slow to get a moderator for this forum - but I have fixed that now.. I am very pleased to let you know that Wulls is now the moderator of this DIY Forum. As I mentioned in the other (BT) thread - Wulls is knowledgeable, experienced, and quite a character here - a great combination I think..
The image is my little joke (sort of a coding placeholder, while I'm waiting for one from him)
Welcome to the team Wulls..

Don't know about him personally, never met him. But the flat smile, two dimensional personality and expressionless eyes, seems to fit!   Welcome Wulls. Hanging out with the RRPD folks puts you one up in my estimation!

:D  I like the idea of taking Bobs Pic of Wulls a wee bit further.
This is the DIY forum and all... Maybe a contest is in order. We could all make a wood-scrap metal-fimo sculpture, South Park style construction paper, Etc. Possibly best described as a "Thing" that resembles Wulls. Whichever one he likes best could be chosen..
A real pic of Wulls to go by might even help..

That's a GREAT idea! Let's do it. I can do some fun things with GIMP (Linux Photoshop clone)....

That's a GREAT idea! Let's do it. I can do some fun things with GIMP That isnt quite what I had in mind. I was thinking of a jpg pic of an actual "thing sculpture" that somebody made. Say like a carved potatoe with delrin eyeballs, or a fimo sculpture, real clay, a carving (probably it should have delrin eyeballs regardless of the medium), maybe a welded sculpture, or perhaps a handy bit of machining/woodturning with stick figure arms & legs fit into custom milled holes.
Something that really says "Hey look at me!! I am the DIY moderator... (and the people in my forum dont get out much, and/or need serious improvement on their crafts) "
The look on Wulls face when he says   "Ive only been moderator for a day and Rodger had an idea already.." Priceless.
