I plan to upgrade the Forum software, and with that we'll see a number of new features (that we wanted) added.. like:
- A searchable Community Directory. :thumb:
- Today's Active Topics is now a rolling 24 hour period rather then rolling over at midnight every night. :thumb:
- Time based edit options. Allows users to only edit their posts within an admin settable time frame after posting. :humm:
And a lot more of course...
The scheduling challenge is the upgrade will take a number of hours during which the Forums will be closed. Weekends are clearly the best choice for minimizing the inconvenience of this outage, and right now it looks like the first weekend where I'm not doing some (other) piping related thing is the 15-16th of February..
