I see the questions quite often - why can't I discuss 'xxx' or try to sell 'xxx', or share 'xxx'?. "There is such a supportive, active, friendly, and LARGE community here, why can't we expand it to include 'xxx'"
Since this 'little' web site started, we've had a challenge to keep the discussion here centered on piping related topics. I fully understand the temptation to expand on the subject content (we have here such an amazingly large* audience, and it is easy to be 'heard' by many thousands of people when you post), BUT, the reason we're here is piping. We're not going to (ever) change that.
To be clear (er), I mean even in the Beer Tent ( or the Trading Post, or the Gallery, or any ....) :wow:
We (mods) try to be reasonable, and of course there are always going to be off piping discussions in any Beer Tent, but remember that we're really here for piping, and when we see a 'new theme' show up (more than a single thread on one 'new' off piping subject), or a variation on an off topic theme showing up, we will continue to act (close)...
