Tennis hero, Jimmy Connors, has just said in a rare interview over here, that to stay the course when out there competing, you have to be a little bit crazy.

Could this apply to us Competing Pipers as well?
I'm pretty sure it has to. Travelling miles to zero in on a small wooden board to play your heart out for a prize.

Are you crazy enough to want to win? :D

Does a piper willingly leave the beer tent to participate in massed bands? What, are you nuts?

"Travelling miles to zero in on a small wooden board to play your heart out for a prize." Do most of us do just that? Or do we travel that distance to do that and more? To watch and interact with others? To see which bands are on the rise (or decline)? To see if they've improved the beer they serve?

i believe pipers are more crazy. why?
because pipers will travel the distance for a chance at the glory where jimmy connors will do it for the money and the glory.

we're all crazy - just check out the posts. :thumb:

The crazier the better. Its more fun that way. who wants to hang out with a bunch of normal people like tennis stars any way when you can be with a bunch of people that enjoy a good time?
