I would love to be able to meet up with anyone from the forums that will be at Maxville. This is my first time going and I am only going as a spectator. I will of course have sticks available to play around with....but I will also have a very active 4 year old with me. I will be camping (Please pray for a dry weekend!!!)
Anyone have suggestions on where to meet?

You can't miss me either, I'm the tenor drummer in a red kilt that plays with Braemar...
Carrie, no one has to have actually met you to know who you are. And I mean that with all the love and sincerety I can muster at this hour of the morning.

OK, with a 4 year old in tow, I don't think I'll be at the beer tent!
I'll probably have a band shirt on with the Kentucky United logo..... see the website for the logo.
I took about 3 years off from playing tenor and have lost contact with a lot of the tenors I used to know.... hopefully will be able to make more friends now!

I'll be at the NAV as well -- Brian, come by when you get in. Some of us are going up on Thursday, and I've already promised a few people that I'd have some Smirnoff's chilling. Hmmm, or I'll be in the pub! :D

Is anyone VERY interested in seeing one of the new Pearl tenors (18" with SK2 top head) up close? I hadn't planned on bringing it, but if anyone realllllllllly wants to check it out... I'll think about it (IF we have room!) We are leaving early Tuesday morning so you need to let me know asap.
Here's a picture of it (before the SK2 head)

I'll be there, with Windsor. I won't have a four-year-old in tow, although there are times when I'm accused of acting like one.

Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank....
You are a silly, silly, drummer... Remember to stop at duty free and pick up LOTS of beer. Then swing by the Beer Store before your gig - it may be a loooooooooooooooooong ride otherwise...

What? Me? Drink beer? Clearly there's been some misinformation spread by those who wish to do my reputation some harm.

Angela,
City of Washington has a full set of those drums, if you would like to look at them, we will be lurking near the grade 1 circle.
