Nice photo, I'm curious about the tartan Angela - what is it?

For some reason it strikes me as something that might be purple.. but I know that is just my brain trying to make sense of a tartan in a B/W photo.. :D

I had this moment of inspiration - go to the web site, and there I'll get the answer.. but of course - while it is a very attractive photo on the home page, it shows that there are a variety of tartans..

Actually, that is the Ancient Henderson Tartan... the picture was taken when we were playing with the Louisville Pipe Band www.louisvillepipeband.org (http://www.louisvillepipeband.org)

Kentucky United is less than 2 years old. Right now, the band is in family tartans. We are trying our best to sound like a band....which we feel is more important than looking like a band right now. :)

Eventually, we are hoping to be in matching uniforms. :woohoo:
