The chairman of the Cambridge Highland Games sent me some pictures of the torrential rains that occurred, and I thought I'd post some of them here...

For those that have never been to the cambridge games, or forget what it's like.... the river/creek as talked about above, started out smaller than shown here

Hey Greg,

I was there on Saturday. Too bad about the flooding, I saw many cars stalled in deep water on the way out of there. I wonder whether the games organisers managed to break even with the sparse attendance, I also wonder who has to fix the ball diamond / parking area.

It was surreal seeing eighty some-odd pipers and drummers standing in ankle deep water inside the beer tent in their capes with their bougues in one hand and a beverage in the other. I wish I had a picture of that.
