I love the way you shared these David - the thumbnails here, and clicks to new windows for large sizes. I'm guessing Imageshack offers scripts for this - but regardless of how it was setup - this is a GREAT way to share.

I should probably use this as an example of 'how' for others.

I have some pics from Pleasanton that I'd like to share that I've got on Yahoo! Photos. Should I just move them to Image Shack, or is there a way to accomplish what David did here with the thumbnails?

You can share them directly and easily from Yahoo. Either create a public folder or set the permissions on the photo so that the public can view it. Then, cut and paste the URL to it into the URL box on the forum's full reply form.

Another option for sharing a large amount of photos complete with thumbnails is to use Picasa.
It is available free via Google and it can take a boatload of photos and convert them into a photo album webpage with thumbs in about 2 seconds.
Then just FTP/upload the whole job to the server of your choice.
This also gives you some control over the layout since you can edit the HTML locally.
