Well, my daughter now thinks I am the the ultimate Dad. {Let's hope she never discovers the truth :wink: }

Seems when one wishes upon a star, dreams do come true.

Anyway...I am tickled for her...so I thought I'd share this since we have other equine lovers here.

What a beautiful Appaloosa. I love his color and form. I'm sure your daughter is thrilled. Would you like to adopt me? Of course you'd have to get me one of those too just to stop any jealous rivalry.....

Yeah, as I type this out I'm looking through the window to the arena where she is teaching 3 young girls jumping and flat work (dressage), mean while our new filly (number 7) is prancing around the field.

Our brood mare is in foal due to drop another hay burner in about 10 months, egads! I told her she needs to start selling these buggers if she keeps breeding them!

BTW, our yearling filly was sired by a stud from Kentucky, his name is "Riverman" from a farm called hilltop, ever heard of them?

When I got up this morning, my dog was barking her head off. I looked out the window, and there were 9 Mustangs grazing in our field. I love Nevada. All the fun and beauty of having horses, and NO FEED BILL! :thumb: :lol:

Around here the $$ go in one end and $hite comes out the other!

This time of year the horses graze in the fields, but come this summer (depending on rain) it will be back to the bales.

Of course since these are performance horses they get a lot of other goodies too. The joke around here is any of us die we want to come back as one of the horses, they are treated like royalty, sigh...

When I saw the photo, I didn't think for a minute that it was a hobby horse.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!

Your daughter is very lucky, I must say.

Best of luck to y'all in your new hobby!
