it is amazing that players who have not gotten out of the lower grades love to play Monday morning quarterback when a P/M of a grade 1 band makes a decision that they don't agree with.
Some of you should pay attention to your own playing and learning your crafy before putting up blog sites of your humble opinions when you have only been playing for a few years. Some would be better learning to play the radio instead of the particular discipline you may be currently involved in.
If you folks had the guts to walk up to Bill Livingstone, and tell him of your thoughts, I would love to be present for his reply. I have taken bands and grown them from grade 5 through grade 2. I am an open player as well. If you had come to me with that same argument, you would probably get the same reply from me that you may get from Bill.
In short , shut up and play.
