Hello Charley
I have recently received one of your medallist chanters, and wanted to ask you your preferences for reeding and set up. I have thus far tried only a couple of makes and found they were not particularly compatible in terms of the F.
Cheers

James Hello Jim
Make sure your reeds are properly broken in. Don't expect every note to be true when you are testing a chanter with fresh reeds. The F is one note in particular where you may want it to be sharp with the reed you've chosen so that you can more precisely control the pitch with tape.
When setting your reed , first get your high A to low A balance and then move on to the other notes and tape as needed.
If there are flat notes (and your reed is a quality, broken-in reed), you may want to do some custom undercutting if you have the skill and knowledge to do so.
What a lot of players do is use an elastic band around the sound box of the reed until the reed breaks in. As the reed is breaking in, roll down the elastic until it is no longer needed.
