A magnificent set of 55 y o full elephant ivory and new hallmarked, engraved sterling silver (Thistle design) pipes has just become available with the retirement of one of our State's top pipers. The pipes come with the original (unused) ivory soled chanter, and include a gortex bag, Ross reeds, new quality velvet bag cover, quality silk cords, and pipe box.
These are a well maintained pipe in immaculate condition. They are regarded as one of the best sounding Robertson's in the State and produce a deep rich majestic tone (possibly because they were made by Robertson for a good friend and have the extra care and attention to detail that only the boss could produce eg hand picked African Blackwood timber, Elephant Ivory etc).
