Medieval Irish [bag]pipes & pipers

Very interesting PhD thesis at

https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&so...=1557397828733

If it's too great a read at least search [ctrl+f] the text for pipes. pipers, bagpipes and bagpipers..

Help, geopat,

I clicked on the link... and waited a very looong
time... but nothing ever appeared.

Possible... that I "clicked" incorrectly? (There is
no end to my ignorance and incompetence with
these machines. :)

All assistance greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Pip01

Pip,
The link goes through google to a PDF.. It is rather large at 18.8 megs, so it may take awhile to download..
The direct link is here:

Yep, it just takes a while to load. Pip01, depending on your web browser you should see the download pop up and show it's progress. On Chrome, it pops up along the very bottom of the browser window.

Ah, geopat, 3D & Joseph,

Many thanks for your assistance!!

On the first link... I again clicked on it... walked
away... came back some 45 minutes later...
and still naught upon the screen...

On 3D's link... when clicked (and several goes
there... with that)... it simply returns to the BDF
page upon which it sits...

Alas and alack... the Corachod and the Daoine
Beaga... would seem to be playing hob with the
insides of this machine. (Perhaps more coal
and a full head of steam... might do the trick? :)

Any other possible avenues of approach... for
this I.T. ... monkey with a cello?

Hmm... In this sphere... I may well be... as my
sainted GrandMama was sometimes wont to
say... "Beyond redemption."

Regards,

Pip01
