I agree that the pipes might actually sound good. You hear stories of some of the older sets made very well and producing an excellent sound. I wouldn't buy them and wouldn't invest a lot into them....

Made in Pakistan without question. Look at the butt ends of the stocks. That shape is distinctive. Classic Pakistani engraving on the metal.

I use toilet ring wax on unwaxed hemp. Just hemped up a set tonight. Lasts a long time and works great. Jake Watson taught me this one many years ago.

From what I know Sinclair/MacPherson always had the solid ring cap. So they can be ruled out. They could be a nice set with some TLC.

If you want to rule out Sinclair then show a picture of the top of one of the drones. Solid cap where ring and bushing are one indicates Sinclair. First clue to identifying a sinclair unless it is...
