FWIW....one can buy a small but adequate lump of pure beeswax at an Ace Hardware store ( in USA) for about $4. It will last many years.

On a few Iíve taken several minutes to open the staple crimp and position the rubber flapper more ideally ..then appropriately re-crimped the staple.
Thinking about it...while I was at it,..I did...

The issue with the Ď70ís technology Lil Mac is having to overbore the blowstick end to install it. Almost to the point ,if not careful,where using a flapper in the future wonít work.
