Aluminum ring on Chanter?

I'm looking to buy a project set of pipes. A co-worker's dad who has since passed away played years ago. They've been looking to unload them for a while. The price is fair, but they're sight unseen,...

Another eBay deal

I find it odd that the seller names the brand of the pipe bag and drone reeds, but fails to name the manufacturer of the pipes themselves...anyone able to ID them?

Re: What's your least favorite type of gig?

"I selected parades, only because as a solo piper, I don't do many. My least favorite would be any where the majority of the audience are drunk. That can get uncomfortable rather quickly."

Re: Practice pipes

I put Abbott reeds in the drones and chanter of my Kitchen pipes, and am happy with the sound. Abbott is one of the loudest PC reeds. I believe the Kitchens are similar to the Practice Pipes.

The BlowHard

Has anyone tried using this apparatus? I know that old fashioned practice is the best way to build back stamina after a few year layoff from the pipes, but I'm wondering if this would be useful as...

Not gonna lie...if that was in the States, I'd be tempted to buy it.

1 4-parted vs 2-2parted marches
