Re: Sheepskin brand?

My last Begg sheepskin bag lasted over four years. I only seasoned it when it needed it. I live in an arid climate- Los Angeles. Fantastic bag that lasted years. :thumb:

Re: Bag Cover and Drone Reeds

I got a new bag cover recently from Highland Gear in Ontario, Canada. It is made with the sunbrella fabric that is fade resistant. Good fit and well made, no slip patches both sides :thumb:

Re: What new pipe chanter would you buy yourself?

For me I would choose a ABW Sinclair chanter. In my book that is absolutely one of the top chanters around. If I had smaller hands I'd go for a Colin Kyo. :thumb:

Re: GigSalad vs GigMasters

We've got a guy here who is taking the bottom out of the market on the gig sites. His recordings are of him playing on top of a professional track. Not at all appropriate in my opinion.

Re: Moose valve without tool

Wire coat hanger bent in half- long enough to reach valve. With two small 90 degree bends at the end facing each other.

Re: GigSalad vs GigMasters

Totally on point here. A great summary. Thanks. Some people on those gig sites are dreadful pipers and shouldn't be performing for $.

Re: Field Marshal Montgomery's World' medley performance

I was there too- definitely Inverary and FMM on top. From my vantage point it was a toss up but I would give FMM the edge.
