Similar....A friend came by with a great set of Ď57 S /I Hardieís he inherited...his uncle who had played them was a winning top grade piper for decades.
In the tenors I tried many make reeds,...

Have you tried a warm water wash up yet. Possible the bridle is overdue for a change?

��. I did for a year or so while having some dental work completed. The price was right...and the pen grip is somewhat less obvious ...more ‘purpose built’ looking...than a plain old chunk of rubber...

Ahh,...got it . I’ll keep an ear to the grindstone for you. ��. Rooklidge has a good possible solution albeit stilla retrofit. I’ve always liked RGL pipes.

Recommend tAke...or at least try... the rubber grip from a cheap ballpoint pen. It works as well and wonít cost $6 + postage.

Iíd agree.....the blackest abw shows more as browny-grey in broad sunlight. Hasnít been pleasant enough here lately to jog my memory how does ebony show,..but remaining Ďblackí iirc.

Might you please describe the diff between Mk2 and Mk3? Is it mainly the foot profiles? As mentioned prior I might wish to match a used one up with a young lads chanter...if I can confirm which model...

I didnít realize the Mk3 was available as far back as 2000. Iíve pretty exclusively been using McCallum chanters since ca 2003 with 2 bands and a plethora of students.
Iíve dropped a note to RTS...
