All present and correct......except...It’s merely a tv show...produced only for commercial purposes...ie selling products. Its all scripted..the looks on the judges faces, their off the cuff ...

The MK 2 chanter design pitch range is 474-476hz. ( are you sure it’s not a Mk3...design pitch is/about 10hz higher iirc)

Using your tuner...set it on 449hz. Mouth blow to set the clear...

The kind where half+ the band shows up bedraggled....kit untidy..wrong shoes,or misfit spats, flashes askew left right and sideways,.headgear worn out faded, scruffy unkempt ribbons ..but 2 dozen hat...

Selbie are very nice stable reeds with an attractive price point. They sound very steady and have no issues in my experience. I’ve set up multi dozens of sets over the years..mainly in new Mccallum...

IMHO you've now id’d the major problem.

Get a 26-27” reed in your GHB and you’ll have little issue to thwart your keeping up.
It’s hard to play a hard reed. ( 30+” )

I’d swag an added well burnished patch of Gorilla Tape on the inside ( before seasoning) would really do well...and no seasoning fall off worries.

Fwiw ...under the old dictum “ play the largest bag you can manage”....the difference between the Canmore M and L is a mere 3/4”. So I advise to get a L. You’ll never feel it. i think nobody would....

Remove shine from your Prince Chas lapels

Anyone have a non-destructive secret to minimizing or removing the shine off jacket ‘satin’ lapels? Some is wear and tear from drones and or silver.
