Do you think Donald MacPherson or Willie McCallum used some stupid meter to learn to blow steady. How about playing for an hour or 2 a day, that will get you to blow steady and learn to blow tone....

Anyone know where I can find "The Mexican Hat Dance" noted? The Privy Piper book has "La Cucaracha" which is good, but the request was for the "Hat Dance".

Apps G3 reeds are molded style and good reeds. Just make sure you don't order Apps G4 which is a ridge cut style. You might try to talk with your supplier and see if they have had experience with...

Newer chanters might need tape on low A to get them from being at 484. If they are around the pitch you want, then leave em taped. You won't lose that much volume from low A being taped either.

Piping Score is doubled. If the judge has you 1st in Piping, 2nd in ensemble and drumming, then your score is 1-1-2-2. Or if you are SFU, your score is 1-1-1-1. thumb
