Re: leumluath movement

Thanks for the input. If you look at the PS on page 99 and check out the third abbreviation, that's the one that confused me- never encountered it.
Thanks again.:willy:

Re: Terry Tully's Pumpkin's Fancy

It's listed in my index as him being the composer; otherwise I would put "arranged by". The book is "Irish Tunes Old And New". I wouldn't take this as being carved in stone; others may have more...

Re: Looking for tune: Motorway/Motorway to the Isles?

I was able to open it. It sounds to be like a hornpipe version of the the tune with variations on the theme and played extremely well. IMHO

Re: Origin of 'The Keel Row'?

I guess there are a lot of interpretations; my recollection is that the High Road is the soldier returning to Scotland alive and the Low Road is a demise in battle, returning to a grave,

Re: Help with finding music

There are quite a few in his "Off Duty" Collection, Chris Hamiltons book and one in the Mac Murchie collection. Just type his last name in the author space and do a rough search.

Re: Police - tunes with "police" in the title

Pipe Major Willie Gray's Farewell to The Glasgow City Police. Search with "Grey" and it won't show up. As suggested above, a "fuzzy" search with just Police will get you all that are published.
