Yeah, I think a good policy is to have fewer grommets and zips like in the days of yore (but I guess that's not always possible if there're moisture control innards, etc)

Oh too bad. I know someone who used a small tent repair patch (PVC I think) and glued that to the inner side of the leaky area. I myself used Shoe Goo on a smallish portion around the end of the zip...

I believe bags in the Livingstone "pattern" have drone holes that are cut about 1" forward of the normal position - is my understanding correct in this?
