My teacher called it the "Lazy C" when I was learning it. Come off the B to D, and "slow" on the C finger down to get the D grace note in.

I also happen to be learning that tune myself right now...

I could be incorrect as I'm a bit of a newbie, but wouldn't the size of the bag have very little to do with making a steady sound? I would imagine it would be the pressure of the air inside the bag...
