Fake 'ivory'

Does anyone else not like pretend ivory on bagpipes? Not that I particularly want real ivory either, but when I see a full set with mounts, endcaps, ferrules all I think is 'plastic' and 'fake'
I...

Re: Drone reed price rise

Oh I don't know, I bought a set last week (before the price rise!) and they have been pretty good.
I was a bit wary as Ezee's seem to get a lot of hate but these have been as close to plug n play as...

Re: Pipers Dojo Cruise

Surely this statement means you should be offering a full refund:
the advertised guarantee of a full refund if "you're not satisfied"

''the advertised guarantee of a full refund if "you're not satisfied"

Well as you are clearly not satisfied (as I would not be) then surely that statement comes into play.
Not sure what your...

Re: Problem with the cutoff...

I have a bannatyne bag, no matter what I do one drone always wails a bit when I cut off, and that's with trying several different reeds.
i'm going the drone valve route (balance tone when they...

Re: Outlander tartans

Does the Trap Dri need a bottle on the end or can it just be an open tube?

Inisheer

Does anyone know where I can find the score to Inisheer for bagpipes? I'm assuming it's in a tune book somewhere!
Thanks!

Re: Dojo university?

I used Dojo for a while, and it did help in the very beginning, but nothing beats a live teacher IMO. I've been lucky enough to spend a few hours 1-2-1 with Neil Clark, but as I live too far away to...
