Bagpipe Galore are fine. They get the job done. I have a set here in Mexico. Decent drone sound. I use Sure Fire done reeds in them. Never any problems at all.

Sap wood on pipes

Through the years I've seen some vintage and high end sets with sap wood in then. Is this desirable? Personally I don't care for the look. Do it enhance the pipes in any way? Thanks.
