I looked at the sheet music but one is a setting for pipes and the other for fiddle. This tune may or may not be in the original 1818 edition of the Knockie Collection. I looked at the 1876 edition....

I have no record of any compositions by a G.S. MacLellan.

I looked up G.S.McLennan(MacLennan) and also find no hornpipes he composed.

I do find his father Capt.D.R.MacLennan composed one...
