Fredericton Society of St Andrews has not fielded a Gr 2 band in many years.


This year they have resurrected the 'senior band' as a Gr 3 band.


Their 'junior band' has been an adult band...

Go to the 'special suitcase' get out your KY jelly... Put a tad around the stock at the collar.... Work it in a bit with an old credit card etc... Once you get a bit in there... Twist until she spins...

made my own from hobby pine and a 'roller stand' took the roller of the stand, cut drilled, stained the hobby pine and bolted it to the 'roller stand' cost me 25 bucks and took a couple hours..

When I ordered my MD's I ordered one of Dave's chanters, by the time the pipes were delivered, Dave wasn't making chanters anymore. I was recommended a Kron ABW, which has turned out to be a good...

yep, tape... almost like painters tape. My Kron chanter came with that on the silver band.

Ya, i've heard that about other regions. Up here its mostly kids from the cadet programs competing in novice (gr 5) and gr 4. The adult bands are generally gr 3 and higher.
