If you can get something in there to press it down to the sides a pipe cleaner might work. Its soft and should not scratch anything.

I hope this is a simple question about the valves in the bottom of the drone stocks.

Do they help hold the air in the bag and then open when you strike in?

Thanks, I think it was Bon Scott. I came across a interview given by his brother and it was on a bagpipe retailers site but I cant find it anymore. it was quite interesting.
