Re: Groped by women when performing?
Yep, groped once, on a St. Pat's night bar hop
late 1980's. (The 'toasted' gal on the barstool
appeared to be re-living the 70's... and also the
night before.)
Photo's? Not that I know...

Re: Old pipes/goose restoration
OK, for starters, what do you have to lose,
by trying? How many marked 'Glen' bags
are out there?
I've attempted this twice, with no joy, but
I'd try again. Dismount the stocks, rinse
and...

doesn't... that's a recent thing over the
last month, or so.

Re: Why the bidding on these pipes?
So far, the seller has been quite up front with
what's on offer - and the bids are right in line
with other 'mideast bargains'.
Please don't scream, just pray some newbie
doesn't quit...

Re: Another very sad day for Nova Scotia
This Tribute for Abbigail Potter was impressive,
and I expect many or most here have seen it,
but it's an appropriate addition to this thread:

Re: Selbie inverted bass ; update
That joint gets a LOT of stress. It's where we tune,
where we break down the bass, and it gets more
leverage when on the shoulder.
Worthwhile to test it often.

Re: Favorite Composers
Agree completely!
You can almost feel the pound
of WWI Artillery in his 3rd part
of 'The Ruins of Arras'(which
I still cannot manage well.)

Re: Problem with the cutoff...
As you approach the cutoff, and attempt to empty
your bag, the weight of your drones presses into
the collapsing bag, partially maintaining pressure,
so your reeds continue to sound.

Re: Mallet finger in the right hand pinkie
I do hope you've had it splinted the entire time.
Yes, had to deal with this, modified a plastic splint
with a cutout and "mole skin" in the cutout.
The gizmo worked "OK" for birls,...
