Re: GoFundMe for piper (instrumental in bagpipejourney.com)

I just added a note to my original first post in this thread. Had there been no Jay Salter, the beneficiary of this GoFundMe, I would have never created bagpipejourney.com—which based on comments...

GoFundMe for piper (instrumental in bagpipejourney.com)

My long-time piping instructor, Jay Salter, lost a great deal in the massive Northern California fire that has burned for almost a month now and has devastated over 130 square miles and leveled over...

I don't use CelticPipes, but under the File menu, is there a Page Setup option? If so, there should be some options there for setting the page size.

Alternatively, you could contact the...

Re: Who invented the bagpipes?

Thank you, Keith. Fascinating stuff. I've always appreciated Barnaby's work. (And yours, of course!)

Re: Retired Pipes

A few ideas:

- Keep it as a "loaner" set to help out beginners who come and want to try out bagpipes with the band. Eventually, they'd move to their own set and the loaner would go to the next...

Re: Permission to post an audio clip

Hi, Kirsty. Welcome! Thank you for asking. :thumb:

Posting the link to a live performance is fine. We're most concerned about respecting the rights of composers and their scores.

Heck, I linked...

My set suffers from spots where the varnish/lacquer has come off. I considered stripping it all off and refurbishing it, but in the end, I opted not too. I just consider it part of the heritage of...

Re: Identify Pipes
