Re: Strange Problem

I did have a problem with a couple of reeds in the past but used a small hand dremel to open them up. This is not the same problem.

The only thin I see that look like Chalice top pipes are not pipes but upside down practice chanters. Maybe it just me and I mossed them but this is what I think of as Chalice top pipes...

Look out for "suggestions"

When emailing back and forth about a gig I know if I see the words "a few suggestions" or the priest or bride or brides's Mother "suggests" that there is a 99% chance that some BS is about to...

Re: Amazing Grace Walk-off

I don't know of any history on this walk off practice but when playing at the grave site at the end of the service, I play a bit and then do the walk off bit. It is a way of letting the mourners know...

Many will find this odd but...

Re: Matching reeds for Dunbars

Dunbar Blackwood pipes sound great with a wide variety of reeds. I prefer Rocket reeds. Both Glass and carbon fiber work great. Kinnaird, Crozier V2 and Selbie are good too.

Re: How best to remove the chanter?

I was doing a funeral...
