Just curious: Why don't drummers have to march when they play in solo competition? Pipers have to when they compete in Grades III and above...why not drummers? Of course, the piper wouldn't have to...

I had a set of a similar vintage a few years ago. The interesting thing about it was that a chanter brush had a tight fit in the bass bottom section. I don't think I have seen that before or since....

That rig looks exactly like a set of palm ivory mounted Bowen Classics I had...right down to the mis-matched stocks I had to use because the originals were so narrow they wouldn't fit in bags with...
