Google a load of utube vids of Guards going tits up on parade due to steel heel and toe taps and sole studs.
But...I do have a shoe cobbler add a broad steel tap at the toe to minimize toe...

exactly the same timing our New Jersey USA band introduced them....with the requisite MacAllister gut busters. We then went on to become EUSPBA GR 3 Champions for two consecutive years a few years...

All present and correct......except...Itís merely a tv show...produced only for commercial purposes...ie selling products. Its all scripted..the looks on the judges faces, their off the cuff ...

The MK 2 chanter design pitch range is 474-476hz. ( are you sure itís not a Mk3...design pitch is/about 10hz higher iirc)

Using your tuner...set it on 449hz. Mouth blow to set the clear...
