On a few Iíve taken several minutes to open the staple crimp and position the rubber flapper more ideally ..then appropriately re-crimped the staple.
Thinking about it...while I was at it,..I did...

The issue with the Ď70ís technology Lil Mac is having to overbore the blowstick end to install it. Almost to the point ,if not careful,where using a flapper in the future wonít work.

Iíve used a 1/2 BB size ~1\16Ē ball of Blu-Tak mashed flat on to the reed tongue. Play around for the size that meets your needs.
