In case the title of the other thread misleads... Talked to Mr. Regan and he assured me that Edinboro University will be hosting a "piping and drumming festival" this year 2011 with full EUSPBA...

I just got an email from Pat Regan stating that they are NOT hosting a highland games (dancing, athletics, et al) BUT THEY ARE hosting a piping and...

Under version 1.0.7 there is a temperament (whatever that is) setting for Great Highland Bagpipes at the bottom of all the temperaments under settings!

Our band received a very pretty and good sounding practice chanter, full sized, and made of blackwood with the stamping "PJC" on the back above the High-A hole. It also has a unique sloping bell...

I made a very successful (and comfortable) pair of Ghillies from some Rockport wingtips that were just a bit aged for work.

I cut the tongue out, as well as the even eyelets so I had 1,3,5 left....

Kilt weight for your band

Back when I started playing... A heavy weight kilt was the 18oz millitary special. A mid weight was 15-16 oz and the light weights for skirts was 12-13 oz.
