Lost Inverness cape at Goshen, CT

Hi all,

My dad set his raincape down on a table before the final massed band at the Goshen, CT festival yesterday and apparently forgot to collect it again before driving home. If anyone came...

Re: Stuart Highlanders

PS - By "rare", I meant the collection of doozies at said bar. Methinks I'm getting too old for Jillian's though. :-(

Hi Chris,

I've only ever been to Texas twice, both times flying through Houston, but I will send you an e-mail or give you a ring tonight. Carroll was kind enough to shoot me over an e-mail about...

Re: Thank you Boston!

For many years people have used the term "Two Connecticuts" to describe the economic, political and social differences between Western and Eastern Connecticut. However, anyone from Connecticut could...

Hey Dan,

Re: Monster Drummers

Al Alexander, one of the guys that use to play in the Manchester PB, and all-around great fellow, was taught kit drumming by none other than Mr. Gene Krupa himself.

Re: Vests (waistcoats)

While I do not agree on your critique of corporate attire, I will say that a long-sleeved shirt paired with a kilt is never inappropriate in my mind. However, a short-sleeve shirt and tie...

Re: Champion Supreme

A few people might remember the Schenectady contest in 1996 when Scott Armit and his then Manchester corps beat SFU in drumming. That MSR performance is still blazed in my mind, almost nine years...

Re: Fix an old HTS 200 or buy a new one?

I've known Michael Heningham for three years and in that time he has never given anything but good and sound advice for drumming supplies and equipment. This endorsement comes despite the fact that...

Re: From pad to drum.

I would recommend trying either an SFU pad or a Hardcorps pad, both have excellent rebound and a good feel that transitions well onto a drum. They are also loud enough to catch mistakes at the onset...

Axeman,
