Have you checked the reed bridle for cracks? My Kinnaird Evo bass recently had a problem holding tuning, and I discovered the O-ring was cracked on the underside where it rubbed against the carbon...

I'm fond of my Walsh long poly PC. As previous posters have mentioned, the O-rings make for easy maintenance and the water trap lets me play longer before the reed gets wet and spit starts leaking...

What size bag do you use?

My current bag (L&M) is much too big for me, but I'm not sure how much smaller I should go. I've tried other pipers' small and medium Bannatyne bags and didn't notice much difference between them....
