Re: Nothing serious I hope

Not a physician, just my personal experience...

I recently (Dec 18/Jan 19) experienced a detached retina. Since I hadn't had any serious blows to the head (as far as I know & can remember :woot: )...

Re: The pipes are in the well?

I've been ruminating on this since the first post and can't hold it in any more ...

This sounds like it belongs in an episode of "Lassie". I can just see it now...

What's the matter...

Re: Worst venue of 2018...go!

NoisyPiper, you're citing just the average prize money totals for the grade 4 & 5 contests. 3D Piper was closer to the actual $ cost to run a band contest with 4 judges.

I helped to run the...

Re: Pakistani pipes laid to rest...

Apologies for the bum steer in the other thread. I don't know why Ky United wouldn't have answered by now.

Anyhoo, that's a nice looking shadow box. May I suggest thin fishing line...

Re: Pakistani bagpipes rebuild begins

I would suggest contacting the Kentucky United Pipe Band (based in Lexington) to see if there may be a member or two (or a former member, or a known soloist) somewhere closer in your direction that...

Re: Where can I get an economically priced kilt?

There is a website forum called xmarksthescot.com with several kiltmakers as advertisers: Stillwater kilts, USA Kilts, Freedom Kilts, among others. Word has it both Stillwater and USA kilts have...

Re: Piping After Molar Extraction - Abscess Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

I had both upper wisdom teeth removed at the same time a few years back. I had an enforced month off. (I attended the World Scout Jamboree about a week after removal + roughly three weeks away.)...

Re: Your first time competing

Cool story and congrats on the kiddo. Just one question: what's a leet? Not a term I've come across in competitions before. :hmm::confused:

The online dictionary gives either an archaic "English...

Re: CelticPipes bar line removal

There's also CutePDF as a free application that acts as a "printer" to "print" BMW (or any other file type) as a PDF.

Re: Bungee-jumper bagpiper

I saw the video on FB a couple of weeks ago. I'll make the same comment here:  Not on a dare. Couldn't pay me enough either. Nope. Nuh-uh. Not me.

Re: Need advice on selling late husband's pipes.

Condolences on your loss. Cancer sucks. I've lost several family members to that monster. :(

I would agree that a general musical instrument store probably won't be able to sell the pipes. St....

Re: Copyright

The lace is really a white-tie detail, and usually...
