Thanks for the tips. Someone had mentioned to me to get a go pro video camera but they are kinda expensive. I mostly need it for self correction on techniques and evaluation of progress on new tunes...

I have not had much luck recording myself when playing. I have tried a android phone but the audio never sounds good. What is a cheap device i can get from Amazon that is tried and true.

there is a guy in Reno Nevada that is in the military who plays with the sierra highland pipe band. He is really good and was one of my instructors when I still lived there.

i am cuiriose if any pipe makers have used teaky wood to make a set of pipes. if so would they be like abw. i am woundiring if that might even be a posibilaty cause it is a buitiful wood
