I play 2 sets of Sinclair drones. In one I have Ezee drone tenors and a Henderson bass, in the other I have Canning tenors and an Omega bass. Both sets sound great!

I was at several games in Scotland this summer, and in a field of 20-ish grade 2 bands, you're going to want to be at the top of that heap before you try and play into grade 1. It's not surprising...

What grade is your band? While the PM does need to be a proficient player, they don't necessarily need to be the best, but they do need to be a good motivator and have a clear idea of where they want...

It's a great competition hornpipe. It has 5 parts, one for each ocean. Mr. Worrall told me this tidbit back in January when listening to some of my competition tunes!
