Re: Kintail gone or not?

In early 2013 a young student on practice chanter had some borrowed kintail pipes...missing a tenor Bush. The kintail site then listed replacement bushes as available...so I had the parents...

Re: Ackland 480 Drone Reeds - Play Test, Comparison, & Review!

Re: Ackland 480 Drone Reeds - Play Test, Comparison, & Review!

Re: Ackland 480 Drone Reeds - Play Test, Comparison, & Review!

Good to know. I was just yesterday wondering the same. I play ‘short’ EZ’s in my ‘75 FS Hardie’s ( usually @~475) ...the tenors often struggle to get much above the hempline and not become...

Re: Newbie having problems with spacing my fingers

Suggest...wait for your lessons and instructor guidance. Don’t create any bad habits over the next few months until Fall that might then need to be un-learned.

Ps ...at this point it’s the...

Re: Pipe bag/ chanter position

I’d say ‘ more like this’...but not quite so much as that RHRBW piper. Arguably most folks bottom hand is ~at the waist/belt line. A non exaggerated pose.

Re: Guess the pipe maker (another name for please can someone help me ID my pipes)

In the picture of the chanter top I think I see an ‘R’. Is there no further embossed naming? eg. R G HARDIE ....the picture isn’t clear...

Are you perchance errantly pushing the bag ( chanter) down too low in front of you ..instead of holding it ‘level’ or even help upwards a bit?

Re: Shipping Bagpipes within the USA: Tips for Safe Trip
